- In the name of Sportsmanship Fleur De Lys require For fairness and enjoyment of all participants it is expected that teams do not field category 1 to 3 Academy players regardless of age group. Teams found to be breaking this rule may, at the decision of the Tournament Committee be expired from competition.
- Of the 8 players that form the squad for 5 a side and 10 for 6 a side only 5 and 6 may be selected to start each game, one of which shall be the Goalkeeper (who must wear distinguishing colours). Any player may change places with the Goalkeeper, the referee must be informed prior to the change, and the change must be made during a stoppage in the game.
- For U7 and U8 ONLY - if the scoreline reaches a deficit of 3 (example 3-0, 5-2 etc...) then a power play (extra player on field) can be made at discretion of team losing. Once the scoreline is moved to just a 2 goal deficit (example 3-1, 5-3) then the player is removed and revert back to 5 players on field. This means there could be 6v5 for the duration of remaining game if winning team continues to score but we anticipate this will minimise the chances of being "thumped" and encourage more enjoyment for teams not as established or just starting out.
- Substitutions may be made AT ANY TIME during the match and will be “rolling” substitutes. The number of “rolling” substitutions is unlimited except in the case of the goalkeeper (see Rule 6). A player who has been replaced may return to the playing area as a substitute for another player.

Winners of each group will qualify for the Knockout Stages. Should any teams finish a group with equal points, placing will be decided in the following order: - a) The team with the best goal difference, b) If still level, the team scoring the most goals, c) If still level, then the result against each other, d) If still level, then a penalty shoot-out will decide. 3 penalties each ( 2 step run up) from different players within the whole squad, then sudden death. Once every player in the squad has taken a penalty, start again in the same order. Players and supporters are asked not to encroach towards the penalty area.
- Where there are only three groups, the best runner(s) up between the groups will be selected to fill the extra place in the Knockout Stages.
